Last weekend when I went to the Country Living Fair, I wasn’t expecting presents. My birthday was a month ago, right? My mother and I drove up to Rhinebeck on Saturday and met up with my Aunt who gave us both (mom and I share the same birthday) our belated birthday gifts. Right out there in the parking lot of the Dutchess County Fair Grounds. Presents! You gotta love presents! I couldn’t resist giving these little beauties their own photo shoot.
There are five of them all together. Beautiful little handmade dishes. Hand made by my very own Aunt! With a b. !! What’s that in the next dish, there?
Yep. These things are so me! The dishes are handmade – and the stamps are hand carved. Don’t you love it when you get a gift that shows how well someone knows you?
Oh, did you know that I love a little splash of red every now and then?
. . . just one. just one little red b.
Happy late birthday to me! I love them! Thanks, Auntie!
What would you use these sweet little dishes for? You can be sure that my Aunt reads this blog (and all of your comments). You can tell her how much you love them when you leave a comment! You can also see some lovely photos of her house in this previous post.
